THE STREET
STORE
There are so many great efforts to clothe and feed the poor across our communities but the Street Store concept is a little different in that it aims to give our ‘shoppers’ the opportunity to feel what it is like to choose their own clothes.
RENOVERGE
Project
The Renoverge Project is a coordinated approach to restoring beauty to the CBD, exits/entrances to Howick and Main Road areas.
PROMOTION CLIP
For Howick
This clip will be used to inspire the resident of Howick to dream BIG dreams for this town and to motivate outside people to invest in Howick,.
OAKLEIGH
HOUSE
The Church became increasingly aware of a need among the elderly in Howick and that is why we consulted with similar projects in order to create a space unique to the needs of Howick.
GRIEFSHARE
Community members who have experienced the death of a family member or friend are invited to register for the GriefShare program to be hosted. This programme will help with the process of grieving.
HOWICK FALLS PRECINCT REJUVINATION
Creating a safe and beautiful Howick Falls area, having the wonderful potential to becoming a destination/ place of choice for tourists, visitors and local families, friends and individuals.
THE DREAM CENTRE
Faced with the extent of the poverty and unemployment in the greater Howick area, the NPO ‘Love Howick’ has added to its list of projects an innovative education and training centre to empower the unemployed in the greater KZN Midlands region.
CITY PARKS PROJECT
There is a growing body of research showing a connection between human health and wellbeing and the design and structure of towns, cities and regions. This research suggest that designated ‘green spaces’ within urban settings provide a number of benefits, namely: health benefits associated with access to public open space and parks.
